Assistant Manager, Maintenance (Yamaha)

Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and plant equipment.

Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of conveyor systems, robotic welding systems, 315T press, LLC, chain riveting, and other manufacturing equipment.

Reduce machine breakdowns and production downtime through timely troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Communicate with overseas principals and suppliers regarding equipment installation, troubleshooting, and technical support.

Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, equipment records, checklists, and breakdown reports.

Analyze recurring equipment failures through root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Coordinate the installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of new machinery, automation, and production equipment.

Ensure proper availability and management of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Utility, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.

Ensure compliance with machine safety, electrical safety, environmental standards, SOPs, and Yamaha manufacturing requirements.

Lead and develop the maintenance team, track KPIs such as uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and preventive maintenance compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
