Minimum 3 years of professional experience in CPIMS/CPIMS+ within Child Protection Case Management, preferably in a Rohingya Response Programme.

Strong technical knowledge of Child Protection, Case Management, and Community-Based Approaches.

Proficiency in software-based case management and data management tools, including CPIMS+, Primero, ComCare, Kobo, and MS Excel.

Responsibilities & Context
The Assistant Officer – MIS will support the effective management of child protection case management information systems under the Rohingya refugee response. The role will be responsible for accurate, timely, and confidential data entry and case management through the CPIMS+ database. The position will also support data verification, quality assurance, reporting, trend analysis, and evidence-based programming. Close coordination will be maintained with caseworkers, CP staff, Project Coordinator, Technical Officer – Case Management, MEAL team, and other relevant stakeholders.
Position Objectives
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of child protection case management data into CPIMS+.
- Maintain high-quality data and ensure compliance with Child Protection Minimum Standards (CPMS) and relevant inter-agency case management guidelines.
- Operate CPIMS+, Primero, Comcare, Kobo, and advanced Excel for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data protection and information-sharing protocols.
- Support monitoring, analysis, coordination, and quality improvement of case management activities.
Key Responsibilities – Technical Quality
- Ensure accurate and complete registration of all case management cases in CPIMS+.
- Support the maintenance, operation, and technical use of CPIMS+, including data collection, entry, verification, and report generation.
- Assist in planning and conducting additional data collection activities and analyzing findings.
- Respond accurately and promptly to data requests from MEAL, MIS, management, partners, and donors.
- Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for staff on data collection, data management, quality assurance, and data protocols.
- Compile child protection data for regular reporting and support case management trend analysis.
- Prepare and submit monthly inter-agency 5Ws/4Ws reports.
- Effectively use relevant software and digital tools for CPIMS+ operations.
- Coordinate with the IRC MEAL team and participate in relevant coordination forums when required.
- Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and priorities with the supervisor.
Coordination & Representation
- Maintain effective communication with caseworkers, CP Assistants, Officers, Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in field-level case management and information management meetings.
- Represent BTS in inter-agency CPIMS+ and CMTWG coordination meetings when required.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Contribute to weekly staff and activity reports.
- Monitor case management trends and provide analytical updates to the Project Coordinator.
- Support the preparation and presentation of statistical data, key indicators, population figures, and donor reports.
- Provide MIS and information management inputs for proposal development.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and proper documentation.
- Maintain case records and prepare regular reports for the supervisor.
- Conduct data validation and maintain organized record-keeping systems.
- Facilitate feedback sessions with caseworkers to improve program quality.
- Collect and document relevant success stories demonstrating project impact.
Administration & Documentation
- Maintain complete and updated case files for all child protection cases.
- Follow strict confidentiality, safeguarding, and information management protocols.
- Prepare regular CP-CM activity reports and analyze case management trends to support improved program implementation.
Other Responsibilities
- Regularly assess caseworkers' capacity in CPIMS+ and data management and provide on-the-job support and training.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor in support of BTS projects and organizational objectives.
- Be prepared to respond to child protection or emergency situations when required.
- Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with BTS safeguarding, PSEAH, anti-harassment, and fraud prevention policies.

Reports to: Project Coordinator
Technical Support: Technical Officer – Case Management & Officer – Case Work
Probation: 3 months, with continuation subject to performance and project requirements.

Gross Salary: BDT 39,200 per month (Taka Thirty-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Only).

Weekend Benefit: 2 days’ weekend benefit is included in the monthly salary.

Welfare Fund Contribution: 5% of the basic salary will be deducted monthly and deposited into the BTS Staff Welfare Fund.

Office Hours, Annual Leave, Increment & Other Benefits: Applicable as per the Recruitment and Human Resource Management Policy of Breaking the Silence and subject to the availability of resources within the project budget.
