  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from BMDC recognized institution with one year internship completed

  • Punctuality in attendance. Attendance to patients and briefing of seniors on patient condition. Participation at CME meeting. Enhancing clinical and non - invasive knowledge and skills. Record of prompt and timely attendance to patients.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the CCU and various wards, under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Senior Consultants, and Consultants. Work closely with Associate Consultants and Registrars to manage patients across all areas of the Cardiology Department.
  • Perform duties in rotating triple shifts, as per the approved roster set by the Head of the Department.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Attend to patients promptly in the CCU, Step-down CCU, Wards, and Cabins as assigned, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Manage patients with the utmost care and diligence, ensuring effective and compassionate treatment.
  • Actively participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs organized by the hospital to enhance professional development.
  • Develop strong interpersonal skills and build good rapport with peers, patients, and nursing staff.
  • Gain proficiency in using cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, ABG machines, TPM gazettes, and CPR trolleys.
  • Adhere to the approved roster and attend duties punctually.
  • Participate actively in academic activities within the department.
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by senior doctors or competent authorities.
  • Supervise and assist junior doctors assigned to the department.
  • Participate in health camps organized by BADAS or Ibrahim Cardiac.
