Key Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Bills of Materials (BOM), and material consumption analysis.

• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

• Basic understanding of ERP platforms and supply chain management systems.

• Good knowledge of fabrics, trims, accessories, and other apparel-related materials.

• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and perform efficiently under pressure.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, or Production Planning.

• Previous experience in the apparel, fashion, or retail manufacturing industry will

• Prepare Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on seasonal demand, approved product programs, Bills of Materials (BOM), and historical consumption data.
• Accurately calculate requirements for fabrics, trims, accessories, and other production materials.
• Review, verify, and maintain the accuracy of BOMs and material consumption data.
• Develop seasonal material plans in alignment with production schedules and product launch timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to incorporate changes in product quantities, specifications, or material requirements into planning.
• Maintain daily material-related data and update planning databases, ensuring accurate and consistent information across tracking sheets and reports.
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement teams to support timely Purchase Order (PO) execution.
• Monitor material orders throughout the entire process, from PO placement through final delivery.
• Track supplier lead times and committed delivery schedules to minimize the risk of production disruptions.
• Identify shortages, delays, or potential supply risks and promptly escalate them to the relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Material Development team for fabric, trims, and accessory trials and development activities.
• Monitor material development progress and follow up on required approvals.
• Ensure all development-stage materials are available within the required timelines to support production and product launch schedules.
