Head of Technical (Marketing) – Fisheries

Job Context

Quality Feeds Limited is looking for an experienced, technically strong, and results-oriented professional for the position of Head of Technical (Marketing) – Fisheries. The incumbent will lead the technical marketing, sales support, and business development activities for the fish fry/fingerling (macher pona) division under Quality Aquabreeds Limited.

Based in Bogura, this role will combine advanced aquaculture expertise with strategic marketing, sales, and market expansion. The successful candidate will serve as a key technical authority, supporting farmers and business partners with fish health, water quality, hatchery performance, and field-level aquaculture solutions while driving market growth.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties

✔ Strategic Technical Marketing & Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive technical marketing and sales strategies to increase market penetration and drive sales of high-quality fish fry/fingerlings (macher pona).

✔ Align technical marketing initiatives with regional and national commercial objectives while strengthening Quality Aquabreeds Limited's position as a trusted brand in aquaculture genetics and quality fingerling supply.

✔ Technical Support & Field Problem Solving: Provide expert technical consultation, diagnostic support, and on-site assistance to commercial fish farmers, hatchery operators, dealers, and corporate clients.

✔ Diagnose and provide practical solutions for field-level issues related to fish health, disease management, water quality, feed efficiency, growth performance, and pond management.

✔ Hatchery Liaison & Product Performance Monitoring: Work closely with the Bogura hatchery production and R&D teams to assess fingerling quality, survival rates, stress tolerance, growth performance, and overall product quality.

✔ Conduct field trials, collect feedback from farmers and market stakeholders, and convert field observations into actionable recommendations for improving hatchery production and product quality.

✔ Dealer Network & Farmer Capability Building: Organize and conduct farmer training programs, technical seminars, dealer workshops, and awareness campaigns focused on modern aquaculture practices, pond management, fish health, and biosecurity.

✔ Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with commercial fish farmers, key market influencers, aquaculture entrepreneurs, dealers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders across Northern Bangladesh and nationwide.

✔ Team Leadership & Market Intelligence: Lead, mentor, and guide regional technical sales officers and field specialists to achieve defined technical, sales, and business development targets.

✔ Monitor aquaculture industry trends, competitor activities, market pricing, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive market position.
