Manager - Business Development (Software Solutions)

✔ Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience in Business Development or Sales within the software or IT solutions industry, particularly in enterprise software, custom development, or cloud solutions.
✔ Strong understanding of software solutions, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
✔ Proven ability to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, product demonstrations, and solution pitches.
✔ Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
✔ Familiarity with AI platforms and AI-powered business/technology solutions.
✔ Adaptable, resilient, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.

As Manager – Business Development (Software Solutions) at Excel Technologies Ltd., you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the company’s software business in Bangladesh. The role will focus on expanding software adoption across enterprises, SMEs, and government organizations through strategic sales, business development, partnerships, and pre-sales support.

Role Overview

Lead sales and business development activities across Enterprise Software (ERP, CRM, SaaS), Custom Software Development, and Cloud Solutions. Drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, develop strategic partnerships, and strengthen the company’s presence in Bangladesh’s growing digital technology market.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across the company’s software portfolio, including enterprise software, custom development, and cloud solutions.

✔ Drive software adoption among enterprise customers, government agencies, SMEs, and mid-market organizations.

✔ Lead market expansion initiatives focused on digital transformation, software implementation, modernization, and cloud migration.

✔ Conduct discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand business requirements and identify suitable technology solutions.

✔ Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent forecasting, opportunity tracking, and revenue monitoring.

✔ Present software solutions, proposals, and technical concepts to C-level executives and senior decision-makers, supported by product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.

✔ Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with software vendors, cloud service providers, channel partners, and other technology stakeholders.

✔ Monitor software and cloud technology trends, competitive developments, market opportunities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
