Manager (Financial Control and Internal Audit)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Professional to strengthen financial controls, support budgeting and management reporting, and conduct internal audits. The role will focus on maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring disciplined spending, and improving control processes across business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial transactions, payment proposals, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy, proper authorization, and policy compliance.

• Prepare and analyse P&L statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to support management decisions.

• Monitor financial performance, identify unusual trends, and recommend measures for better profitability and cost control.

• Review reconciliations, inventory valuation, receivables, payables, and cash flows; investigate discrepancies and outstanding issues.

• Plan and conduct risk-based internal audits covering financial and operational activities.

• Assess internal controls, approval processes, and policy compliance, recommending practical improvements where required.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify financial risks, errors, and irregularities and present findings with clear corrective recommendations.

• Prepare audit reports and follow up on the implementation of agreed corrective actions.

• Support improvements in financial systems, reporting processes, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality and professional objectivity.
