Age: 25 to 35 years
Valid registration with the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC)
Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, nursing standards, and best practices in patient care
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
Proven ability to manage a team, mentor nursing staff, and maintain a disciplined work environment
Expertise in Cannulation and other essential clinical nursing procedures
Supervise nursing staff and manage day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
Coordinate with the medical team to ensure quality patient care and positive treatment outcomes.
Guide support staff in triage, ward cleanliness, infection control, and overall hygiene.
Ensure proper functioning of medical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair coordination, and inventory management.
Oversee departmental budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
Develop, update, and implement SOPs for efficient nursing operations.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulations.
Oversee accurate documentation of transfusions, medications, procedures, and all patient-related records.
Assess patient conditions, provide prescribed treatments, and manage complications.
Deliver blood transfusions, monitor for adverse reactions, and handle emergency referrals.
Educate patients and families on disease management, lifestyle guidance, and medication adherence.
Assist doctors with examinations, medical procedures, medication management, specimen collection, and follow-up coordination.
Conduct regular training and development sessions for nursing staff.
Train staff on documentation, blood collection, transfusion procedures, and hospital protocols.
Stay updated with new research and introduce best practices in patient care.
Address staff concerns and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Work closely with the blood bank for proper blood collection and processing.
Coordinate with laboratory and other departments to ensure timely tests and treatments.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to evaluate patient progress and update care plans.
Prepare and submit reports on department performance, patient outcomes, and key operational metrics.
Ensure documentation compliance, especially regarding blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing care and operational efficiency.
Ensure all nursing practices follow best standards in thalassemia patient management.
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
Offer comfort and guidance to patients undergoing transfusions or other treatments.
