Pre-Production Quality

• Examine tech packs, specification sheets, approved samples, patterns, artwork, and customer requirements before production begins.

• Participate in PP meetings and communicate all quality-related observations and requirements to the relevant teams.

• Review size sets, fit samples, and pre-production samples to ensure compliance with approved standards.

• Identify potential quality risks at the pre-production stage and implement preventive measures.

Production Quality Control

• Monitor quality throughout cutting, sewing, finishing, ironing, and packing processes.

• Conduct regular inline and end-line quality inspections and audits.

• Ensure garment workmanship, measurements, construction, appearance, and finishing meet customer specifications.

• Monitor critical production operations and maintain appropriate quality checkpoints.

• Follow up on identified quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Measurement & Workmanship

• Verify garment measurements against approved specifications and standards.

• Monitor measurement deviations and take immediate corrective measures when required.

• Inspect stitching, seam quality, SPI, construction, workmanship, appearance, and overall finishing.

• Ensure rejected garments are properly segregated, repaired, and re-inspected before approval.

Customer / Third-Party Inspection Support

• Coordinate with customer representatives and third-party inspection teams during quality inspections.

• Ensure all required documents, samples, and inspection arrangements are properly prepared.

• Review inspection findings and follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed.

• Support final inspection preparation and take necessary measures to minimize the risk of inspection failure.

Quality Improvement

• Analyze recurring defects, determine root causes, and develop and monitor appropriate CAPA.

• Track PPM, DHU, defect trends, rejection, rework, and overall inspection performance.

• Conduct quality awareness sessions and training for QC and production teams whenever necessary.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance overall product quality.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily quality records, inline and end-line audit reports, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation.

• Prepare quality performance reports and communicate significant quality concerns to management in a timely manner.
