Supervise security guards’ performance and provide appropriate instructions and support. Carry out thorough security inspections during factory opening and closing procedures. Ensure effective security measures are in place to safeguard factory assets and promptly report any irregularities or suspicious matters to the factory head. Report incidents of damage or loss to management and conduct necessary investigations. Keep track of security personnel’s activities outside working hours to minimize contact with suspicious individuals or groups. Monitor the conduct of workers and employees while maintaining strict vigilance over factory property and personnel safety. Ensure visitor and security inspection registers are properly maintained and regularly updated. Address the concerns, requirements, and operational needs of security staff. Prepare duty rosters for subordinate staff and monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and festival allowance records.

Cutting Production Planning & Execution Plan, organize, and oversee daily and weekly cutting operations in line with approved production plans, shipment deadlines, and production line input requirements. Cut Plan & Fabric Utilization Develop and monitor cut plans, marker efficiency, lay planning, and fabric consumption to maximize fabric utilization while minimizing material wastage. Production Target Achievement Ensure daily cutting targets are met through effective manpower deployment, optimal machine utilization, proper workflow management, and continuous production monitoring. Quality & Cutting Accuracy Ensure cutting operations comply with approved patterns and markers, including proper shade/lot segregation, lay height, cutting precision, numbering, bundling, and established quality standards. Manpower & Productivity Management Allocate manpower effectively across different cutting processes and monitor individual and team productivity to enhance overall departmental performance. Machine & Equipment Management Monitor the performance, condition, and availability of auto cutters, straight knife machines, spreading machines, band knife machines, fusing machines, and other cutting equipment, while coordinating timely maintenance when required. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Planning, Industrial Engineering (IE), Fabric Store, CAD, Quality, Sewing, and Production teams to ensure timely fabric availability, completion of cutting activities, and smooth production line input. Fabric & Inventory Control Monitor fabric issuance, consumption, remaining balance, end bits, shortages, and wastage while ensuring accurate reconciliation and proper traceability of fabric lots. Compliance & 5S Practices Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, 5S practices, workplace safety standards, environmental guidelines, and other operational procedures. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Prepare regular cutting performance reports covering target versus achievement, efficiency, fabric wastage, machine downtime, manpower utilization, and pending activities. Identify operational issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures for continuous improvement.

Participate in PP (Pre-Production) meetings and QCO meetings as required. Monitor and follow up all pre-production activities, starting from the size set stage. Follow up on TOP, shipping, rack, testing, and other required samples to ensure timely completion. Ensure that workstations on the production floor are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Ensure compliance with the required ironing standards. Monitor get-up and price ticket checks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Follow up and monitor the line feeding checklist regularly. Review the first output against the approved sample and ensure timely follow-up of the first output garment measurement report. Immediately report any quality discrepancies to the QA Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager and support the implementation of corrective actions. Identify and finalize critical operations and key quality points, and communicate them clearly to Team Leaders and Team Members. When a style is running on multiple production lines, ensure that an approved duplicate trim card is available for each line. Review buying office inline inspection findings with the relevant Production, IE, and QA teams and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. Monitor DHU reports to identify recurring defects and coordinate with the Production team to improve output quality. Regularly review and maintain the process monitoring checklist. Coordinate with management regarding any requirements or issues that cannot be fulfilled within the required standards or timelines. Monitor and follow up on Team Leaders’ daily routines, activities, and assigned actions to ensure proper execution.
