Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), M.B.B.S with BMDC registration.MD/M.phil (Biochemistry) from any recognized University.

  • Working experience in Clinical Laboratory and Blood Bank services.
  • Preference will be given who have in depth understanding of procedures involved in biochemistry, hematology, immunology, serology & pathology tests in diagnostic laboratory/blood bank.
  • Punctuality in attendance.
  • Prompt services to the patients.
  • Supervising/Controlling Capacity.
  • Enhancing clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Managing patients efficiently.

Responsibilities & Context

  • The incumbent will report to the Manager of Laboratory & Blood Bank Services and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the Laboratory and Blood Bank. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervision of Laboratory Procedures: Oversee clinical laboratory procedures and ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance of laboratory instruments to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Quality Control Implementation: Develop and enforce quality control programs to maintain high standards in laboratory services.
  • Blood Donation Oversight: Supervise blood donation procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Test Review and Analysis: Review and evaluate tests conducted in biochemistry, blood bank, and pathology, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Independent Work: Perform tests independently, evaluate results, and determine if additional or follow-up tests are required.
  • Shifting Duties: Work on a shift basis or as per the roster approved by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Collaboration with Authorities: Execute tasks assigned by other competent authorities as needed.
