About Company

Comprehensive Eye Health Services in Bangladesh” project in Bakerganj, Banaripara, and Barishal Sadar Upazilas within the Barishal District, with funding support from CBM Global Disability Inclusion.

This initiative aims to develop an inclusive eye care system that connects base hospitals, community clinics, and vision centers, ensuring better integration and service delivery. The project responds to the critical lack of awareness and limited access to eye health services among persons with disabilities and underserved populations.

To strengthen service outreach and inclusivity, CODEC will collaborate with three Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) located in Bakerganj, Banaripara, and Barishal Sadar. Partnerships will also include Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital, Grameen Shastho Hospital Barishal, Islamia Hospital Barishal, and National Eye Care (NEC), Bangladesh. Formal Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed with OPDs, public hospitals, and private healthcare facilities to support coordinated efforts toward inclusive eye health.
