BASA Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit development organization founded in 1991. Its primary mission is to empower marginalized and underprivileged communities—particularly those who are deprived and vulnerable—by enhancing their overall quality of life.
The organization adopts a non-directive, grassroots, and participatory development approach, placing people at the center of its strategies and actions. Since its establishment, BASA Foundation has prioritized capacity building through training, access to basic education, poverty reduction via microcredit programs, and initiatives in food security, safe water and sanitation, health and hygiene awareness.
