Dohatec New Media, founded in 1992, is a global software solutions provider specializing in web applications, database development, multimedia, and e-publishing. The company serves clients across education, healthcare, government, media, manufacturing, and retail sectors, delivering ERP, CRM, SCM, MIS, e-Commerce, and e-Government solutions.

Dohatec has worked with prestigious international organizations, including the World Bank, WHO, WIPO, and the United States Postal Service. Since 2006, the company has focused on identity and biometric solutions, notably developing the Voter Enrolment Software for the Bangladesh Army.

This project registered over 80 million voters, capturing photographs and fingerprints for the first time in Bangladesh’s history, using biometric face and fingerprint matching with distributed de-duplication systems.
