Socio-Economic and Rural Advancement Association (SERAA) is a national non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental development and humanitarian organization, also functioning as a consulting firm. It was founded in 1997 by a group of like-minded social workers in Sukhari Union, Atpara Upazila, Netrakona District, with the mission to improve the socio-economic conditions of rural poor families—particularly ultra-poor, marginalized, and vulnerable groups—with a focus on women. SERAA is fully registered with DSS and NGOAB, Government of Bangladesh, and maintains updated Trade License, TIN, and VAT in compliance with government regulations.
