Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization working toward sustainable development in Bangladesh since 1985. It holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC) since 2013 and is officially registered with various government departments, including the NGO Affairs Bureau. YPSA contributes to national development goals through a team of professionals focused on six key thematic areas: Health, Education, Human Rights and Governance, Economic Empowerment, Environment and Climate Change, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Response. Its programs currently operate across the Greater Chittagong Division—including the Chittagong Hill Tracts—and parts of the Dhaka and Sylhet divisions.
