Damien Foundation has been actively working in Bangladesh since 1972, initially focusing on leprosy, and expanding its efforts to include tuberculosis control in 1991. The organization collaborates closely with the National Tuberculosis Control Programme (NTP) and the National Leprosy Elimination Programme (NLEP) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW), Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
