Department: Research & Evaluation Position type: Full time Job Location: Head Office Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Contract type: This will be a full-time position based in Dhaka with a minimum commitment of two years.   Job Responsibilities Leadership & Organisational Development Shape the strategic direction and objectives of the Research and Evaluation Department in alignment with SAJIDA Foundation’s mission and long-term vision. Build and expand a multidisciplinary research unit under the guidance of its advisory group. Represent the Foundation at national and international forums. Recruit, develop, and lead a capable research team to deliver the organisation’s research priorities. Design and implement internal and external research training programmes to strengthen research capacity. Establish collaborative research practices that ensure methodological rigour, objectivity, and research integrity. Fundraising & Partnerships Mobilise internal and external funding to support research activities. Develop strategic partnerships with national and international research institutions, universities, and other organisations. Oversee complex, multi-partner research projects involving different countries and disciplines. Encourage collaboration across disciplines to strengthen research outcomes. Leverage professional networks and engage diverse stakeholders to advance organisational goals. Scientific Leadership Translate research findings into practical insights that inform policies, programmes, and decision-making. Establish effective knowledge-sharing systems within SAJIDA Foundation and with external stakeholders. Develop and lead high-performing interdisciplinary teams while working within resource constraints.

Job Summary The Data Analytics Officer – MRM will support SAJIDA Foundation in strengthening the management, analysis, interpretation, and use of program data for evidence-based decision-making. The role will contribute to data management, statistical analysis, visualization, assessments, reporting, data quality, MRM system strengthening, and organizational learning in collaboration with the MRM team and Development Programs. Key Responsibilities MRM Systems Development & Management Support the implementation and maintenance of MRM/MEAL frameworks, including indicators, data collection methods, reporting requirements, and accountability mechanisms. Develop and update data collection tools, monitoring templates, and reporting formats. Ensure consistent data collection standards, methodologies, and disaggregation practices across project locations. Build project staff and partner capacity on MRM/MEAL tools, systems, and reporting requirements. Monitoring & Data Management Coordinate routine monitoring activities and ensure timely collection, verification, and consolidation of project data. Maintain project databases while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and integrity. Conduct data quality assessments and verification exercises to improve data reliability. Prepare monitoring reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for management decision-making. Assessments, Research & Organizational Development Lead or support baseline assessments, organizational capacity assessments, surveys, and other data collection activities. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and prepare assessment reports and findings. Use assessment findings to support project planning, adaptive management, and organizational strengthening. Develop evidence-based recommendations and document key lessons learned. Evaluation & Reporting Support the planning and implementation of project evaluations, reviews, and learning activities. Provide timely MRM inputs for project reports and management reviews. Coordination & Capacity Building Provide technical guidance and mentoring to project staff and partners on monitoring, data management, reporting, and accountability systems. Promote data-driven decision-making across project teams. Coordinate with Programme, Finance, and Operations teams to integrate MEAL processes into project implementation. Contribute to strengthening organizational MEAL systems and practices. Other Duties Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned by the Team Lead/Director of Development.
